It was three up and three down for the Green Devils as they swept the Central Springs Panthers Tuesday night, earning their second win in as many games this season.

Like a beer-swilling uncle at the Osage Bowl on league night, the Green Devils came out a little sloppy in the first frame but quickly dialed it in and  started knocking down pins as fast as the Panthers could set them up.

The score: Osage tops Central Springs 3 sets to 0. (25-16, 25-8, 25-11). The Green Devils improve to 2-0 on the season.

What they’re saying: “We started off a little bit sluggish I think, but the girls picked up the aggressiveness and really picked it up in the second and third sets.” — head coach Brian Tabbert.

“It’s been fun to be able to start the season. Momentum is high, energy is high.” — Senior Dani Johnson.

Up Next: Osage will host St. Ansgar on Thursday, September 3 at 7 p.m. Osage has dominated the series as of late — in their last 10 meetings with St. Ansgar, Osage has won them all.
