The St. Ansgar volleyball team has a little saying when it comes to home games - ‘three straight and home by eight.’

Well, momma must have been making meatloaf tonight cause the Saints were in a big hurry to get home.

St. Ansgar wasted no time in subduing the West Fork Warhawks, Sweeping their conference foes in three and only giving up double digit points in one match.

The score: Saints win easily in 3 sets, (25-10, 25-6, 25-7) improving to 5-3 overall.

What they’re saying: “I think we played really well tonight, everyone was hitting well, everyone was passing well - overall, we had really good team chemistry.” - Senior Brooklyn Hackbart

“We were aggressive the whole night, and that really helped. We were getting in some hard swings in the first game, and that helped us settle in.” - Coach Tyler Johnson

Up next: Saints look forward to a Saturday tourney at Forest City.
