Janesville takes back-and-forth tilt

RICEVILLE — Four lead changes and a couple of tie scores featured in a back-and-forth home softball showdown between Riceville and Janesville during the home opener for coach Andrea Bauer’s team.
In a game that lasted almost two and a half hours, Janesville emerged the 16-10 winner on Wednesday, May 22.
The visiting Wildcats jumped out to a 2-0 lead right away in the first inning as the home Wildcats answered with a two-run home run blast by Kylie Dvorak, and it seesawed from there.
