Osage looks good at 3-0

JANESVILLE — So far, so good for coach Matt Gast and his Green Devil baseball team.

After a big seven-run sixth inning put an early end to this non-conference tilt as Osage improved to 3-0 overall following the 16-4, six-inning victory at Janesville.

“We’re putting runs on the board – that’s good,” coach Gast said. “We’re getting bunts down, we’re moving runners. We’re kind of a small-ball team, yet we can also hit gaps and stuff. We’re a good hitting team. We’ve got to produce against the great pitchers, put runs on the board.”
