Tabbert, who was 7-of-15 from the field and 7-of-14 from beyond the three-point line, led the Saints with 21 points for a season-high for the senior.

“Very proud of her,” St. Ansgar coach Scott Cakerice said of Tabbert. “She has spent a great deal of time working on her shot over the last several years. It shows the young kids that hard work and time spent in the gym pays off.”

The previous mark for three-point field goals in a game for the Saints was held by Kelsie Willert with six in the 2013-14 season.

With Tabbert hitting shots from the outside, the Saints got 19 from Madison Hillman inside, and guard Kinsey Anderson added 11 as the Saints improved to 8-4 overall, 6-3 in the Top of Iowa East Conference.
