MASON CITY — Getting to play one final time as a high school senior on the court that will be his home for possibly the next two years, St. Ansgar’s Hunter Hillman had a fun time playing in the NIACC senior all-star game coached by his high school coach, Jason Squier.

The Blue team also defeated the Yellow, 101-79, to leave with bragging rights.

“It was really fun,” Hillman said. “I missed a few shots, shows I haven’t been practicing a lot, but I will get a lot better.”

He showed the kind of talent that could be seen in his final season and attracted NIACC head coach Jeremy Winters to recruit him, with dunks, three-pointers, blocked shots and rebounds in the win.

The full story, and more photos, will be found in the April 3 print and e-editions of the Enterprise Journal.
