OSAGE — Extended playing time for seniors of the Class 3A No. 9 Osage volleyball team still meant a Top of Iowa East Conference sweep of Rockford on Tuesday, Sept. 27.

All of the Green Devil seniors, some of whom don’t get a lot of playing time, got the nod for the start and made the most of their time on the court in the 25-14 25-14, 25-6 victory.

“That’s what we’ve been doing the last four years here at Osage,” Coach Bryan Tabbert said. “Just worked out that we had the right amount of seniors, getting them out on the court on the same time, get them in for the first set and hopefully, for the rest of the game, then. Tonight, the seniors did awesome as a group and really showed what they are made of tonight.”
