After a slow start, Osage and West Fork came out firing in the second half, and the Green Devils had to rally from a flurry by the visiting Warhawks to take sole control of the TIC East with the 75-69 OT triumph on Tuesday, Dec. 19.

“Both teams, it had that big-game feel to it,” Osage coach Mike Brahn said. “And try to feel things out. A lot of turnovers in that first half. Both teams defended, rebounded really well in that first half. I’m sure neither one of us was happy with our turnover numbers and shooting percentage at halftime.

“Trying to be more efficient that way and take care of the ball in the second half. They came out in the second half and put a big run on us there. We kept chipping away and kept battling back. We took the lead . . . and played with confidence and composure, and really kept us there at the end.”
