HAMPTON — Osage boys tennis may be in the infancy of its program, but with a 9-0 road win over Hampton-Dumont last week at Progress Park, the Green Devils sure didn’t look like it.

Coach A.J. Francis’ team showed patience and good serving in sweeping the Bulldogs and winning back-to-back matches on consecutive days to improve to 2-1 overall on Tuesday, April 11.

“The boys are excited, especially knowing they can compete against schools, they are always going to give it their all,” Francis said. “These last few days, they are on a roll right now, feeling it. These next few days of practice are going to be key. Going into the weekend, a few more meets, which will be exciting.”

The full story, with more photos, will be found in the April 19 print and e-edition of the Enterprise Journal.
