It was a big win for the Green Devils, who handed D-NH its first loss of the season to fall to 6-1.

There were a couple of close singles matches, including a tiebreak loss for No. 1 Kaitlyn Olson who lost an 8-8 (7-4) marathon one against Izzy Norton and a 9-7 win at No. 3 singles against Addy Joslin.

“It was a tough match, and Kaitlyn fought a great battle,” coach Ryan McInroy said. “Unfortunately, it did not go her way, but what she gained from that loss is immeasurable. And in this sport, learning how to come back from a loss makes you a stronger player.”
