Obituary: Clement “Clem” Hemann

Clement (Clem Hemann drew his last breath June 30, 2021. Hebrpassed way and leaves this world to enter Heaven. He fought a brave battle withbrcancer and leaves behind one son Craig Hemann.

 A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 7,br2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage, with Father Raymond Burklebrofficiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Osage with militarybrhonors by Osage American Legion Post 278. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. tobr2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

 Clem was born to Alban and Kathren (Becker) Hemann Novemberbr29, 1934. He was the 6th out of 8 children.  He was raised inbrMeyer, Iowa and worked on the farm. He joined the Army Company D FirstbrBattalion in 1959.

Clem met and married Bernice Marsolek on August 29, 1959.brTogether they built a loving marriage that blessed them with one son CraigbrHemann on October 19, 1962. Clem and Bernice lived and farmed North of Osagebrbefore moving to town.

Clem worked at White and Oliver for several years as abrwelder. He also did welding for friends and family. He was known to be anbrexcellent welder.

 Clem was a member of the Knights of Columbus and thebrAmerican Legion. He was proud to have been a veteran. He was also an advocatebrfor the ARC. He did his best to help them with fundraisers and functions.

Clem loved spending time gardening, playing cards, fishing,brpolka dances, golfing, church and family. Though he loved his 3 gardens he gavebrmany of us the fruit of his labor and we loved it.

 Clem is preceded in death by: his wife, Bernice; parents,brAlban and Kathren Hemann; brother, Vincent and Irene Hemann; sister, ViolabrHemann; brother Eugene and Donna Hemann; brother-in-law, Jerry Michels;brbrother, Gervase and Patty and Nance; sister, Evelyn and Al Landherr; sister, Bellebrand Bernard Spitz.

 He is remembered with much love by his son Craig Hemann,brsister, Lucella (Sally) Michels, many nephews, nieces and the Marsolek family.brHis golf buddies, fishing friends and not to forget his fellow cardbrplayers.
