The junior forward for the Wildcats stepped up in the second half of this 51-45 victory, scoring nine of her team-high 13 points by driving for baskets against the Raiders.

“We watched their game (Thursday) night,” T. Fair said, “and it looked like you could drive right at them because they didn’t move very much. They kind of just stood there, so we took advantage of it and drove in at them, got the shots.”

Head coach Darcy Fair added, “Sometimes, we’re a little hesitant to drive at them, but we did great things when we drove at them in the lane. Keep confidence in that ability. We can all do it. When you drive into the lane and they collapse on you, you can have kick-out shots to your teammates who are waiting for you. It’s a collective effort.”
